WELCOME TO MEDLAB
SOUTH.
We are a fully IANZ accredited medical
testing laboratory currently based in Christchurch, as
well as laboratories in Timaru, Nelson and Marlborough.
For over sixty years Medlab South has provided
the Canterbury region with a highly valued full community
pathology service.
We are committed to providing quality pathology services to
medical practitioners, specialists, private hospitals and aged
care facilities. We also provide a wide range of commercial and
privately funded testing service, such as Wellness Testing, Travel
Clinic, Infection Control and Food and Water
testing. We currently employ over 300 staff.
Kilmore Street
Laboratory
Our Kilmore Street Laboratory and Collection Rooms has
been earmarked for demolition in the very near future.
We are sad to see the building go, but are looking
forward to our new premises.
Collection
Clinics
With the exception of the Kilmore
Street collection clinics, all other Medlab collection
clinics are open and operational to their original opening and
closing times and our Selwyn St Clinic has extended their
time to 5:00pm.
Our St Georges clinic is open on Saturdays should you require a
collection then.
