Medlab South is a medical (Pathology) laboratory providing a wide range of tests and services on a user-pays basis. Analysis of tests (including collection and processing of samples) can be customised for special applications. Medlab is also specialised in Infection Control, Food and Water Testing, and Travel Medicine.

1. Employee Testing
Clients currently use Medlab South specialist pathology skills to support their own initiatives including:

2. Travel Clinic
For Travel Vaccinations and advice (including immunisation status). Medlab South is one of the few providers of travel vaccination approved to give Yellow Fever Vaccinations.

3. Insurance Testing
we work with insurance companies to assist in the health assessments of their potential clients with biometric measurements and sample collection at home or at a site which is convenient for the client.

5. Food and Water Testing
Medlab South Envirolab has passed rigorous quality assessment in Invercargill for Food and Water Testing and in Timaru for Water Testing.

Our clinical trial service provides pathology services to the medical, tertiary institutions and pharmaceutical communtities. These services are tailored to meet specific requirements.

7. Infection Control
Medlab South has special expertise in Infection Control audit, consultation and training and is registered with NZQA as an accredited training establishment.

8. Pathologist Consultation and Advice
Specialist consultation and advice is available for testing contracted to Medlab South
